All staff are expected to attend an Safeguarding Annual Update course with Lois Sparkes.
Aim:
- To refresh your knowledge of the principles of Safeguarding and your responsibilities
Objectives:
- To be aware of the legislation relevant to safeguarding
- Know the signs to watch for
- Be familiar with Mind in West Essex procedures for reporting abuse
- Discuss good practice if someone discloses abuse
