DESCRIPTION:What it will cover?\nStress is how we react when we feel under pressure or threatened. It usually happens when we are in a situation that we don’t feel we can manage or control. Stress is something we all experience. \nThe aim of this training is to improve participant’s stress management and support individual’s to become more resilient. DESCRIPTION:What will it cover?\nThis workshop explores men’s mental health through the lens of stigma\, identity\, and vulnerability. It creates a safe and supportive space to reflect on how societal expectations\, language\, and traditional ideas of masculinity can influence emotional wellbeing and help-seeking. \nMen’s mental health is often critically impacted by stigma and cultural norms that equate masculinity with strength\, self-reliance\, and emotional silence. As a result\, many men experience anxiety\, depression\, or stress while feeling unable to speak openly about it. This session invites participants to reflect on what it means to be a man in today’s world\, and how vulnerability\, strength\, and identity can coexist. \nThe training aims to: \nThe workshop aims to build participants’ confidence in engaging in meaningful conversations about mental health — both their own and others’. Self-care for grief supporters is emphasised\, addressing compassion fatigue and advocating for maintaining emotional well-being. \nThis training aims to: \n\nUnderstand what is meant by grief\, loss and bereavement\nGain a better understanding of how a bereavement can impact an individual and the factors that influence how they grieve – helping to overcome the barriers to talking about death\, loss and grief\nIdentify the tools to help talk with those bereaved with confidence and compassion.
