If you have a favourite crystal or pendulum try using it with your Reiki treatments. Beginning with the Crown chakra, allow your pendulum to dangle about two or three inches above the chakra (holding the cord or chain attached to your pendulum between your first and second fingers of your left hand and keeping your hand as still as possible).
Generally, if the pendulum makes a circular movement clockwise, the chakra is open. If it does not move at all, the chakra is blocked. If it makes a counter clockwise circular motion, there is serious blockage.
As you move from one chakra to another, make a mental note of the chakras that have a blockage and give them some extra attention when giving the Reiki treatment.
