SUMMARY:Reflective Practice and Resilience
DESCRIPTION:What will it cover?\nThis half-day training on Reflective Practice & Resilience is designed to support both individuals and team leaders in building reflective habits that enhance personal wellbeing and professional effectiveness. Participants will explore the principles and benefits of reflective practice\, using a range of models and tools to better understand their experiences\, manage challenges\, and foster ongoing learning and growth. \nIn addition to strategies for supporting teams\, the training offers tools for recognising and managing stress\, setting healthy boundaries\, and responding to self-criticism with increased self-compassion. \nBy the end of the session\, participants will feel more confident in using reflective practice to support themselves and others—contributing to a more resilient\, self-aware\, and compassionate workplace culture. \nThe training aims to cover: \n\nUnderstand the principles and benefits of reflective practice in leadership and supervision\nExplore and apply reflective models including: Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle\, Driscoll’s What Model\, and Kolb’s Learning Cycle\nDevelop strategies to embed reflective practice into everyday leadership and management to strengthen team effectiveness and resilience\nStrengthen awareness of professional boundaries and work/life balance in reflective leadership\nEnhance their ability to recognise and support the mental health and wellbeing needs of team members\nIdentify sources of stress and apply strategies for stress management and self-care\nChallenge self-critical thinking and develop self-compassion in reflective practice\nLeave with a personalised action plan for incorporating reflective practice into their leadership or personal approach\n\n£50.00 \n\nWhen is it?\n\nMonday 5th October from 9:30am – 12:30pm (in-person at Ware Wellbeing Centre)\n\nFor more information regarding delivering this training externally to a group\, please contact us using the details provided below.
