Spot the Signs is a fully funded 3-hour suicide prevention training designed for GPs, Primary Care Network staff, and voluntary sector employees within Hertfordshire, UK who work with adults. It may also benefit anyone working in health or social care settings. (Please note: this training is not available to those outside the UK.)
Eating disorders are serious mental health conditions which can involve impacted eating habits and different feelings about food, weight, and body image. These conditions can affect a person’s emotions and physical health, and they’re not just about wanting to look a certain way.
This training course will provide a general introduction to the complex topic of hoarding behaviours and hoarding disorder. Delegates will gain a better knowledge and range of skills to motivate and support individuals that hoard with greater insight into how hoarding presents itself. There will be a focus on managing some of the more practical challenges of supporting individuals who hoard and how to approach this.
