The Mental Health Toolkit: Relaxation and Mindful Breathing

Intro

During this training session you will learn a powerful and practical breathing exercise, which increases awareness of, and works with, the mind-body system to lower stress.

The Mental Health Toolkit - delivered by Mind in West Essex.

This 1-hour course covers:

  • What is mindful breathing?
  • What are the benefits of diaphragmatic breathing?
  • Our parasympathetic nervous system
  • Our autonomic nervous system
  • Attention – an emotional need and a resource
  • How to do mindful breathing – supported practice in the session

The course is run a on supply and demand basis but at only £25 per person we often get booked up quickly.

This course requires a minimum of 6 participants to run, and has a maximum capacity of 12 participants.
