Psychosis conditions, including schizophrenia, are treatable mental health problems that can affect anyone, although very few people talk about the conditions and their impact on families. Millions of people across the globe find themselves thrust unexpectedly into a role providing support and care when a relative develops psychosis.
This workshop explores men’s mental health through the lens of stigma, identity, and vulnerability. It creates a safe and supportive space to reflect on how societal expectations, language, and traditional ideas of masculinity can influence emotional wellbeing and help-seeking.
Spot the Signs is a fully funded 3-hour suicide prevention training designed for GPs, Primary Care Network staff, and voluntary sector employees within Hertfordshire, UK who work with adults.
