What will it cover?

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often misunderstood and carries stigma in society, leading to misconceptions and challenges for those affected. This training aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of OCD, its impact, and effective strategies to support individuals living with this condition.

The training aims to:

  • Increase knowledge and broaden understanding of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and its various manifestations.
  • Develop awareness of best practices to engage confidently with individuals experiencing OCD.
  • Raise awareness of the diverse range of services and interventions available for individuals affected by OCD.
  • Recognise the importance of everyone’s role in fostering inclusion and challenging the stigma associated with an OCD diagnosis.
  • Identify practical approaches to support affected individuals and encourage a more inclusive and understanding environment towards those living with OCD.
