Join us in learning how small changes in these 5 areas of your life can improve your mental health and wellbeing.

This immersive 3-hour workshop aims to help you develop practical skills to improve wellbeing.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are a set of evidence-based public mental health messages, developed by the New Economics Foundation, which aim to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the population.

For easy movement and enjoyment of this workshop we recommend wearing comfortable clothing.

Course Plan

There is strong evidence that indicates that feeling close to, and valued by, other people is a fundamental human need and one that contributes to functioning well in the world.

Be Active

Regular physical activity is associated with lower rates of depression and anxiety across all age groups.

Take Notice

Studies have shown that being aware of what is taking place in the present directly enhances your well-being and savouring ‘the moment’ can help to reaffirm your life priorities.

Continued learning through life enhances self-esteem and encourages social interaction and a more active life.

Individuals who report a greater interest in helping others are more likely to rate themselves as happy.

Not only was this session fun and engaging but I can honestly say I left feeling lighter... a great experience
Kay, Youth Worker
I was glad to have attended... We weren't under any pressure, or any expectation... and for me that was very important.
The course was interactive and fun and gave the information needed for self-reflection, as well as an opportunity to learn more about my staff and colleagues.
Jane, Business Operations Manager
The trainer provided a safe learning environment. It was fun and very informative... I came away feeling I had really belonged to a like minded group
I would encourage any organisation to have their team contact Mind in West Essex to arrange this training
Gershom, Head of Youth Work
It was very informative, engaging and relaxed. I felt energised from the session [and the trainer] made me feel welcome and safe from the start.
