Mental Health and Customer Support – Full Day


This full-day course is delivered in a face-to-face setting, and aims to:

  • Raise awareness of mental health and how it can vary
  • Explain how mental health problems can impact on us and our customers
  • Understand how best to respond to and support your customers
  • Understand how to care for your own mental health and wellbeing at work
  • Provide sources of support and information
  • Share practical tips for supporting people

Course Plan

Session 1

2.5 Hours

  • Introduction to mental health
  • Stigma
  • Mental health problems
  • Suicide

Session 2

1.5 Hours

  • General customer service
  • Mental health and customers
  • Safeguarding and capacity

Session 3

1.5 Hours

  • Responding to the needs of your customers
  • Supporting someone experiencing a mental health problem

Session 4

30 Minutes

  • Support for you


This full-day course is delivered to your organisation for £600. 

In addition, charges are added for Instructors’ travel expenses, accommodation and refreshments if outside West Essex, and any venue hire costs incurred.

This course requires a minimum of 6 participants to run, and has a maximum capacity of 12 participants.
